Defense of the thesis of Ahmed Nait Aicha

On Thursday 19th of November 2020, at 16.00 h, Ahmed Nait Aicha will defend his thesis titled: 'Smart Technology for Ageing in Place: Machine Learning for Continuous Sensor Monitoring of the Functional Health of Independently Living Older Adults'.

The research was carried out under supervision of Gwenn Englebienne of the University of Twente and Ben Kröse (AUAS), and was carried out in our Digital Life group of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).
The thesis describes research on the various methods of sensor monitoring to detect changes in the functional health of older adults living alone.
