Hipper project granted

16-10-2014

The Hipper project has been awarded a Raak Publiek grant.

Within this project a new protocol for revalidation after hip surgery will be developed that includes sensor technology. The protocol will give patients and caregivers more insight in the progress of the revalidation. This increases the self-management of the patients and allows caregivers to provide a more efficient and effective, personalized treatment.

The Hipper project is a collaboration of Digital Life with the Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy and Remedial therapy groups of the Applied University of Amsterdam, The Academic Medical Centre (AMC), and care organizations Cordaan, Vivium Naarderheem and Zonnehuisgroep Amstelland.

The project will run from November 2014 to October 2016.
