CMD students design digital product folder for eGilde research
18-06-2021
Two students of the CMD minor Web Development have digitized the product topper for the eGilde research project of Digital Life. Researchers Saskia Robben and Michel Oey supervised both students in this. The result is a clearer range of eHealth applications. This topper can help healthcare providers in choosing suitable eHealth applications in the eHealth living labs.
Why the product topper?
At the moment many technological innovations in healthcare are not used, because the implementation process does not run smoothly. Healthcare workers often have a lot on their mind, already have all kinds of equipment and don't want to carry a whole book of different eHealth applications with them. Digitizing the paper version makes the product folder much more accessible. Especially because many healthcare workers already work with tablets and mobile phones.
What can you find in the product folder?
This product brochure contains eHealth applications that should help clients in daily life. Think of small sensors that are placed to prevent falls in the elderly. Or, for example, a smartwatch with an agenda that should help elderly people with memory problems.
How does the product folder work?
The digital product folder is easy to use. By smart filtering and searching you can quickly find a suitable eHealth application for the client. You can also directly view all eHealth applications. Once on the products page, you can adjust filters, search for and compare products.
